Weekly Youth Art Classes

Enroll your young artist in our weekly series of all-ages youth art classes, and let your child’s imagination run wild! Classes will meet every Wednesday of the month with a different medium explored each month.

$10 for members; $15 for non-members.

October 4th: Radial symmetry printmaking
Students will learn how to carve a square styrofoam block to print a larger design.

October 11th: Printmaking Collage
Students will learn how to create collage using different materials and a carved block design.

October 18th: Collograph
Students will learn how to create their own layered stamp to create a unique work of art.

October 25th: Linoleum Printmaking
Students will learn how to carve a linoleum block that will then be inked and printed using a press.

November 1: Yarn Bowls
Students will learn to create a yarn bowl using different sized molds.

November 8th: Yarn Mandalas
Students will learn about the history and culture behind mandalas, then create their own colorful design.
